Camille Giroud, Clos Vougeot other_regions(from Petit Maupertui). There is enough reduction to dominate the fruit though it clearly seems ripe. Otherwise there is first rate volume, punch and mid palate density to the muscular flavors that are also quite firmly structured but even so there is less youthful austerity than is typical for Clos de Vougeot. Still, this is definitely going to require at least moderate patience and like the Chambertin, this is excellent as well. (92 95) 2030+

This is really lovely and a classic Vaudésir in its delicacy

This too is quite deeply pitched with its ripe aromas of cassis

earth and meat with hints of eucalyptus and dried herbs

The 2014 Gattinara Molsino is shy and introverted in its first impression

with restrained tannins and no rough edges

Gets better and better
