Rimmon was designed by Johannes Hedegaard in 1967, the frame was discontinued in 1977. The same frame shape was used for Sheba from 1956, this was also discontinued in 1977. The frame is decorated with stylized pomegranates, branches and leaves. Rimmon is Hebrew and means pomegranate.
