Andre Smith, Amer., (1880-1959) Rare between 28 & caEtching, 1912, Ed. unknown, image 8 x 5 1 2, signed in pencil and inscribed "1st. proof", on thin cream wove similli vellum paper with small irregular side and bottom margins 1 4 3 8, top margin of 3 4 inches. a rapidly drawn and forcefully wrought image of the Buffalo rail yards with great economy and abandon in the rendering of the smoke wafting from the idling engines. The first proof from the plate.
