The push point is connected to the front or leading end of the pipe and the push cap is inserted into the bell housing on the opposite end of the same pipe
NOTE: This part is rarely used but in the case of pockets of gravel or roots pushing back into the hole
The rig itself attaches to the sidewalk and does not require that stakes or anchoring devices be driven into the property owners soil next to the sidewalk
the push cap may be struck with a hammer to drive the pipe past the obstruction and on to the other side
1-1/2" PVC Push Point Compression Points it is simple removed fromThis part is used to insert a 1 1 2" PVC Sch 40 pipe into the ground after the initial hole is opened with the compression point. It is threaded into the end of a 2 sch 40 PVC pipe or conduit. As it is screwed into the pipe it cuts its own threads on the inside of the pipe much like a tap. The outside diameter of the push point will be the same as the outside diameter of the pipe itself. Next this pipe point assembly is shoved into the same opening
