Colclough, a china manufacturer at the Vale Works in Longton, Stoke On Trent. In 1913 King George IV and Queen Mary visited the Vale Works and the Company received a royal license, adopting the Royal Vale Name. In 1937 H. J. Colclough combined with Thomas Morris and Osborne China Co., becoming Colclough China Ltd. In 1944 Booths China Ltd. acquired Colclough and the two merged in 1948 becoming
