with lemon and predominantly orange peel shining through

cool fermented and aged in stainless steel to retain fruit characteristics

leading into a fresh mid-palate with beautifully seductive flavours of dark fruit

right on the border with Spain

Athru Knocknarea Whiskey Vintage_2003 The first release of twoKnocknarea is the second single malt from the Lough Gill Distillery and is also a limited edition of 6,600 bottles. Matured for 11 years in ex bourbon American oak casks and then finished for a minimum of three years in finest Oloroso sherry casks beside Lough Gill. Mince pies and caramel on the palate, pepper and cigar box finish (medium length).
