Dans les temps anciens, les ouvertures taient petites et le besoin de balcon ne se faisait pas souvent sentir, mais au fil du temps les fentres se sont agrandies et le balcon devient peu peu indispensable, en mme temps quil est prtexte dcoration. En bois, en fer forg, en fonte, en bton arm ou en pierre, le balcon suit la mode et les styles tout en sadaptant aux architectures. Cest cette longue
